The Wine & Culinary Lineup
We have selected wines that showcase the incredible diversity of Italy's regions, from the sparkling hills of Veneto to the rich soils of Piedmont. Here is a preview of the evening's menu:
Reception: Sacchetto, Asolo Prosecco, Veneto NV
We begin the evening with a toast. This Prosecco is expressive and fresh, offering lively notes of citrus, honey, and fragrant white florals. It is the perfect crisp and refreshing aperitif to awaken the palate.
1st Course: Rodaro, Ribolla Gialla, Friuli Colli DOC
For our first course, we travel to Friuli. This elegant dry white wine features notes of lemon, bitter orange, and green apple, with floral hints of gardenia. Its minerality makes it the ideal companion for seafood and salty appetizers.
2nd Course: Rodaro, Malvasia, Friuli Colli 2020
Moving into a full-bodied white, the Malvasia offers rich aromas of pear, apricot, and vanilla with notes of almond. It provides a structured mouthfeel with a finish of toasted almond that pairs beautifully with rich, savory flavors.
3rd Course: Roberto Voerzio, Langhe Nebbiolo, Piedmont 2021
We then move to the reds with a stunning Nebbiolo. Characterized by vibrant cherry and raspberry fruit, floral notes of rose, and earthy undertones of leather and tobacco, this wine offers a powerful yet balanced palate with a long, spicy finish.
4th Course: Giusti, Amarone della Valpolicella, Veneto 2019
The grand finale. This intense ruby-red wine is full-bodied and warm, featuring notes of dried fruits like plum and cherry, with hints of licorice. Its elegant, round palate and soft tannins provide a persistent finish that perfectly caps off the meal.
"Just in Time for Christmas: All wines featured at the dinner will be available for purchase at a discounted price."
